No, I did not 'have a go' at this guy. I got the ball close to the scoring line, and stopped there since scoring would mean my opponent could easily have scored again due to his advantage in numbers. My opponent could, true enough, not have reached my player in one turn, but that is not my fault, and there was no reason he shouldn't try and get some guys down to try and threaten my ball-carrier. Since he didn't even try (ok he might have had some guys in tackle-zones, but come on, he had a Wardancer, that's a 2+ with reroll to get out. If you are not going to try stopping me, I'll stall the two turns necessary to avoid you scoring. See one of multiple forum subjects on "stalling" for further info on this! After the touchdown, my opponent complained that I was not "playing properly", and I adviced him to go check out the forum for the topic stalling before doing that. He then (after our little discussion) complained I was taking too long to set up, and disconnected. He was too busy hurling complaints at me to see that I had already finished my set-up and was waiting for him. I adviced him that he would have to reconnect, or I would have to report him to the admins in accordance with Fumbbl rules - after all, I had scored on defence and he quite clearly disconnected on purpose. After the reconnect, I failed to get a player back from KO, which I'd gotten back before the disconnect. This may seem petty, but when you're down to 8 players that's not nice. I informed my opponent that we should try another reload since we should try and get the same result as last time. He refused, and since I just wanted the match over (no I wasn't enjoying myself) I then asked him to at least leave one of his players out of drive. He refused again, until I asked him to leave out one player until I got the player back, which he agreed to - all fine, no problems here!

In the second half, I got the ball and hid it in my own field, since I didn't feel confident I could score, with 9 men and a blitzer out. My opponent blocked and fouled the entire half, luckily for me only killing a single player which my apothecary saved, and the rest were Badly Hurts. Note that I don't think it's wrong to block or foul all that you want, I just point out that he did this instead of trying to get the ball (which were held by a guy with neither block or dodge, and he still had a Wardancer, and a reroll, so his chances of getting my guy down was 75 %. He still preferred to foul - fair enough, but that's why he lost not due to some nasty tactics by me). As for the "foul language" this opponent started the insults, and I simply gave him back. I think he said something about me being "stupid and friendless" and I simply said my friends weren't around because his mom was generous. I apologize if this was too much, but if someone insults me, expect to get insulted yourself. I will hold to this now and forever, no matter what. As to my "bad sportsmanship", this is true if you think stalling for 2 turns bad sportsmanship, I have always stated I will stall if the situation calls for it, if you really can't take stalling and don't even want to try and stop it, don't play me. Also, if my opponent (Key) was very young, I might have given him some pointers, but he didn't seem to have any problems tactically, with regards to getting assists etc, and so I assumed he just didn't WANT to stop me.

What Key's brothers' friends have to do with this, I have absolutely no idea, but I am ALSO in a tabletop league, and I am not considered a bad sport there.

I suggest we stop this badgering of each other, especially since we don't even have a match report of the proceedings (not until after the disconnect, that is).

regards,

Mikkel / M i x X

#8 trunker – Smashed Knee (NI)
This is my little brothers team, he started the game with no problems. 'mixx' had a go at my bro cos he couldn't chase the ball, this guy had the ball 1 square from the douchdown area with an extra 2 players, my bros side were all in tackle zones and were at the halfway line, therefore it would be impossible to get to him with 1 turn and very improbable that he would reach him after 2 turns. The reason that i told my bro to disconnect was firstly because of the foul language and secondly because he was more interested in typing abuse than setting up his side. I have played this game many times before and know 6 other friends that play this game on a regular basis. i have never seen anything like the bad sportsmanship such as this 'mixx'.
