“Pre game roll: 2 – fallen side prevails – zara hired.

The Angels went into the game looking for blood, or whatever there is in lieu of blood in undead filth. Moral was high when their coach surprised them by hiring an old friend, Zara, and so the Angels went onto the pitch with glee chanting their warsong:

"We are the Fallen Angels
Causing terror with every breath
We are the shrieks of silence
The messiah’s of your death"

...

As their first ever loss was against undead, the Angels held back a little initially, they wanted blood on the pitch, just not their own. Seeing that the better opposition players were actual ball handlers, they made their target the ball, afterall, what better way to make dead things deader then by going after the very object that would bring their victims to them.

Zara unleashed early hitting hard, but all her efforts were in vain as the undead kept coming back from the grave. The rest of the team rallied around the Buffy wannabe protecting her whilst attacking the ball and it’s handlers.

The end of the first half saw lots of the opposition leave the field, but to the girls dismay, they were all just dazed and took back to the pitch the following drive.

After securing the ball and creating a defensive touch down, the second half started.

In the opening minutes of the second half, the Angles thrower for fun decided to toss the ball into the undead players instead of her own waiting catcher. A small skirmish ensued, but the Angels got the ball back and went for the score.

Zara kept hitting away, and the oppositions coaches disgruntlement at the cheap shots Zara took made the team cackle in glee.

And whilst the girls walked away with a 2-0 win, they felt disappointed. They had come out for blood yet hardly fouled and did no damage.

Zara being on the pitch threw them off, they were too concerned with helping her instead of stomping on undead faces.

Note: sorry to my op’s coach, my theme required me to hit more seeing as pre game I rolled a 2, take more fouls and less focus on the ball. Was just the first time I fielded zara and was more toying around with how to protect her then I was trying to stomp on faces.
