This game came down to coaching, as I miss-used a couple RRs when I shouldn't have. I also forgot about the wizard at the start of the second half.
Bampf was excellent. Even with losing Da Buggins, he kept his spirits up and his wiz's fireball was perferctly timed! Cost me my apoth to save a death and cost me the game.
Looking forward to our next match in CCC or NWL!!!

An extremely exciting and tense game. AG4 gobbo Da Buggins showcased his skills throughout the first half. Effortlessly dodging through TZs, picking up balls in the middle of scrums, making break away. However he was also injured twice. Once early... and the team apoth instinctively raced to the aid of the team s star player. Alas, Skink, Zoom Zoom ran him down on a attempted fast break and killed him once and for all!
With a cry of "This one is for Buggins" the Backstabbers rallied and wrangled the loose ball and scampered in for a score.
In the second half an errant kick put the ball in the hands of a Saurus and the lizards surrounded the confused beast trying to explain to it what to do with the ball. A crafty gobbo shaman took that opportunity to blast the congregated lizards and the ball popped out of the cloud of smoke and brimstone. The gobbos scooped up the ball and scampered downfield. Possession bounced back and forth the whole rest of the half. Exciting BloodBowl at it s best. Eventually a couple ball handling flubs and the game was sealed for the gobbos!
A very fun match against a great opponent! Looking forward to that next meeting!
