Amazing game I can't do much more to the game summary as Azure was accurate with everything as usual.

Was a very fun season and I really enjoyed this team. After hundreds of games being away from Lizards which were some of the first teams I played i've been drawn back to these little guys.

We'll see what future is ahead for Rossford now that the NABBL is over they'll be looking for a new home.

Grats again Azure on a great played game making me sweat the entire time as usual.

#10 Chris Duncan – Dead (RIP)
NABBL Championship Game:

The fans wanted to see some action - and this game did not dissapoint. The game had a wicked back and forth action the entire night...so let's get into the game recap:

To start the game, Rossford received the ball...but the skies clouded over and rain poured down on the field. For the entire first quarter - every attempt by Rossford and St. Louis to pick up the ball came to not...however it kept getting kicked in one direction - bouncing a good quarter of the way downfield into the St. Louis end of the field. Finally Rocket picked up the ball and scooted free and into the clear. The crowd went wild as it seems he was in the clear...then WHAM...Rocket was sent sprawling - stunned - as the St. Louis blitzers knocked him over and then even picked up the ball themselves! The sudden change of direction had the St. Louis faithful on their feet now. However, St. Louis was playing down several people due to injury at this point and once they got to midfield, the ball was jarred loose...and back to rolling on the ground. Finally, Rolls-Royce made some dodges - grabbed the slippery ball, spun around and raced upfield...making some gfis - TD! 1-0

With only 2 turns left, St. Louis refused to give up. Receiving the ball, players raced downfield as Carpenter picked up the ball and waiting for a clear pass. On the last play of the half, it was there...moving to his left, Carp fired the ball downfield to a lineman - because of the rain, it seemed like he would miss the ball (used RR), but he gathered it in. A 1d block followed by a 2d block and St. Louis had a clear path...just needed 2 gfi to score - ARGH! St. Louis ends the half inches short of the goal line. 1-0 at the half.

St. Louis started off by receiving in the second half and took the entire third quarter, but Carpenter took the ball to the house himself...aided greatly by the Kroxigor failing a gfi...if it had not, Carp may never have scored. As it was, it was 1-1 going into the fourth quarter. Rocket at first failed to pick up the ball...and St. Louis pushed downfield. Then Rocket picked up the ball (if he had failed - no chance to score)...and moved upfield. St. Louis tried to break through the defensive lines - but some neutral block results prevented the St. Louis players from getting to rocket. However, St. Louis left 1 tackle player deep as a safety - making sure no Rossford player could get to him to tie him up. Then on T15, Rocket moved up along the sideline...Rossford as usual did an excellent job of marking up the Guardians. So it was only the St. Louis safety that had a chance at Rocket...knock down rocket - and it was overtime...2d block...push!...RR...double skull! ARGH! Down goes the St. Louis player and Rocket as time expires races downfield...just the 1 gfi...touchdown!

Rossford wins the championship and finishes an amazing undefeated campaign in NABBL! Congrats! It was a wonderful game - exciting and very fun to play. Well done!
