#13 Steen Stensen Blicher – Dead (RIP)
“With out a doubt, the most exiting blood bowl match i´ve ever played. both TT and here at Fumbbl.
The orcs where the rightful winners, by the exellent cage play.
Even though the match could have gone both ways several times.
For the ones that have not seen the replay: The match begins with the elven star thrower ag6 leap, sure hands, getting killed in the first blitz of the match... Gets saved by the apoth and pulls some miraclous plays later in the match. Inkl blitzing twice into a full Orc cage and knocking the ball carrier down.
Unfortunately the elves had some crucial rolls against them, which prob. was the reason the the succes on the suicidel thrower leaps.
Awesome match against an awesome opponent! When FC is over, we have got to have a rematch :D”

Beforehand, I was not particularly happy with the draw, having just received a terrible loss against emphasy's pro elves last game. I went with nobblar and his chainsaw, which did not much CAS, but I feel the brave fellow drew some blitzes onto him, giving me time to form a proper cage, so that was alright.
Basically this game saw bashing orcs in controll of the ball and elves waiting for a chance to steal it.
Overtime had everything BB is about: Elves receiving, orcs trying desperately to get hands on the ball. It came down to a 1d blitz for the elven ballcarrier to score TD, which resulted in a Skull. Orcs managed to recover the ball and carry it downfield. The last turn 8 blitz by the elves was just pure BB classic stuff: no block thrower leaping into cage throwing a -2d block (double 6!) with no RR left. I was soooo lucky I could pick it up with AG3 lino, throw it to blitzer and score.
Thx again Nicodemus for that great game. I think we both made mistakes with our kids to look after while playing and the evening getting later and later, but that was an outstanding one for me. Rematch anytime!”
