First off, major props to Purplechest for coaching a great game. He was short-handed from the start, losing 3 players in the first two turns.

The first half saw the Addicts dominate, with CDs flying off the pitch at a rapid rate. We slowly churned down the field, taking out most of the team, including a BH foul on Hthark (after 3 tries).

The fans were starting to leave at halftime, but then something weird happened: Purplechest fought back and fought hard. He niggled Count Luthor, who failed to regen, stalled a couple of turns and scored a TD with his SF/BT bull, mainly on will and great coaching.

The Addicts did their best elf impression and put themselves in good position for a two-turn score, but the wight Trog dropped the handoff with a reroll while in range to win.

OT commenced and the Addicts received, but the CDs were ready and got Blitz! They tried to dauntless a st6 mummy and got a skull. A clumbsy ghoul failed to pick up the ball 3 times before finally recovering. At this point the CDs were applying much pressure and managed to equalize in numbers on the field as well.

We finally had to expose the ball carrier to a blitz on turn 23, and Purplechest's st5 bull got a POW on the blodger, dislodging the ball, which then bounced many times before being caught by a mummy in a TZ, who then handed off to a ghoul for the winning TD.
