“First game of SpeedBowl Season II for the Mullets and the team was rearing to go! We got to receive and after a brief change in the weather the game was on! First half saw the Mullets advance up the field and try to get into a favourable position to possibly catch the ball and score. The Bashers soon got the hint and took an offensive defence that saw them tie up the ball in the Mullets half of the field for several turns almost stealing it! Some fortunate dice helped and the ball was ousted from the scrum and passed along to a lone catcher who proceeded to show-bout for a turn and score! 2 Turns remained on the half and the Bashers made a quick lunge at my TD-zone, but a failed pass stopped any hope of a score.

Second Half was a big melêe of thrown blocks and ball stealing/blocking. Both teams vied for the ball but neither could loosen it enough to score so game ended 1-0 for the Mullets. A great premiere of the Season!”
