“Another marathon grindhouse!

The norse came into the game the theoretical favorites, but the dwarf roster was deep and healthy. Magnus Odinson, suffering the lingering effects of a training injury was having trouble focusing and at times would just stand there. It wasn't looking good!

The norse managed to break free relatively early and get a pass to Sleet who quickly scored. The dwarves slowly marched back, killing Sleet in the process! Fortunately, Odin had other plans for our hero and brought him back to life. The dwarves managed to tie it up 1-1.

The second half began and the norse took a beating. Unable to break armor, it was only a matter of time before the dwarves beat the loin-clothed Black Handers into submission. Though Vice got in a good hit, that would be it for the game. The dwarves still scored, 2-1.

Then, in an absolute miracle, the norse pushed down the field to try and tie. In the final seconds, the bone-headed Odinson shook off a failed blitz and moved in and tied the game! Phew!

The norse lost the rookie Banki and replaced him with another lineman. Still, the will be fighting the very successful amazons with only 11 players. Will Odin watch over them one more?
