Going first seemed to give the Chaos team some heart, with a quick drive up the left field. It all went well right up to the gfi to step over the line and score, where Dominus Mortifer II managed to trip himself up AND knock himself out. The ball scattered out of reach for Schola, and the outlook of the game was bleak. However, a failed catch by Robert "Sideshow Bob" let the beasts get 2 TZ on the ball. The ref had it in for little fellow Auris, expelling him from the game on his second foul, with nary an injury inflicted. Blitzer Louis picked up the ball and tossed it downfield, where the crowd snatched it and threw it halfway back. Bellator II swiftly dodged clear and grabbed the ball.....or attempted to grab the ball anyway. Successful with the second attempt (including a dodge into a TZ, ball pickup in TZ, then clear) and the ball was in the air towards a waiting Ogre, who, sure enough, failed to catch it. A coach fumbbl saw Dominus Deus III blocking himself onto the ground, and no score for the entire first half.

A perfect Orcish drive utilising ball tossing, catching and fake drives saw a 3 turn TD. Not having luck with KO's the usually hardy orcs only fielded 9 players for the next drive. A messy drive saw Dominus Mortifer II cross the line with the ball in Turn 6, tying the score with 2 turns to go for each team. Better luck saw the hardy orcs put 10 players back on the pitch. An amazing turn of events saw Pugna break through the pack and knock the thrower holding the ball down, picking the ball up in the process. Unable to knock Pugna down in the orcs turn, a risky block pushed Charles clear for Pugna to take Schola to a last turn win!
