“Fumbbl Tour round 2 vs dwarves
We bring a wizard, they sneak in Star Player Grim Ironjaw! Sneaksy dwarves!!

They receive first, getting a touchback to their blodge blitzer. Slow advance up one side by the dwarves. We eventually stretch out their cage a little but still haven't thrown a block at the ball carrier- though tagging him with a BC and the dwarves using a RR to dodge support in for the 2d block rewards them with double skulls! We pile in some players but don't quite get the ball and a little dangerously near the sideline (vs 2 enemy frenziers) - and in fact one 1d pushes our hobgoblin into the crowd! A BC tries to return the favour but 4 dice can't find a push!!

Eventually our star BC grabs the ball and makes a run towards the other side of the pitch with it, but he greedily sprints too far and slips over! The dwarf runner grabs it but is taken out immediatly after with the half ending with one of our BCs pushed into the crowd harmlessly and no score by either side.

Looks good with 11 available though sure hands hobgob remains KO :(
Here's hoping we can steadily push through and slowly score with the wizard in case of mishap.

We pick up the ball with our BC but he can't get through, trying several directions without luck. good defending by the dwarves so far and they eventually blitz down the BC with a 1d block. Bit of a brawl then a +ma dwarf runner grabs the ball and makes a run for it. In my turn I can't even put him in a TZ and he runs in the 1-0 TD.

(made a mistake that turn and the turn previous not using my wizard before moving - this is what cost me the game unfortunately!)

In our final couple of turns we are forced to attempt some very desperate play which has a chance of making an equaliser- but without any luck.
