First half: The Ravagers got the ref, and fouled M 'n' D off the pitch - they were fortunate in their injury rolls, but they also knocked M 'n' D players to the ground a lot more. A touchdown for the Ravagers was only prevented by a massive amount of successful dodging from M 'n' D.

Second half: The Ravagers received and touched the ball down fairly quickly, having beaten M 'n' D up some more, choosing not to simply stall the Elves out of the game because they wanted the chance of inflicting even more pain and humiliation on their uncorrupted cousins. M 'n' D scored a touchdown in return, and so the Ravagers set off up the pitch with 4 turns in hand. They collected the ball, and advanced it up the pitch, but even more spectacular dodging and 1-dice blitzing from M 'n' D meant that they had to keep recovering the ball. Time ran out in the end, but not before M 'n' D made a last bid for a spectacular comeback win, throwing a huge long bomb. Fortunately it was intercepted.

Lesson of the day for the Ravagers' coach: Yes, you've injured a large chunk of their team. That doesn't mean they can't come back at you. This was the Ravagers' second game from the last three that was winnable by simply stalling out a winning position...”
