“Our E.L.F. cycle continues when we answer the challenge of Honne's Rotters.

We start in the usual elfy way (apart from turn one with the double-failed pickup, ahem) with our new speedy catcher sprinting up one side looking for the quick score. But a good BH on our rookie blitzer from the beast frees up a blitz late in the rotters turn and they stun the catcher with a beastman. We counter blitz and then dodge through with a lineman to score on turn 3 despite all this!

The rotters advance with the ball - at one point fouling my blodge blitzer with their beast! (fortunately to a stun only - no apo!); but are out of rerolls after a couple of turns and when a 1d block turns up a skull we get a chance to blitz the ballcarrier and then nab the ball with our new NOS catcher! A rotter strip baller makes a brave blitz towards him, slipping just as he's reached him - and we waltz in the touchdown to make it 2-0.

The rotters line up for the second half but a deep kick and a blitz lets us through to cause stress on the ball carriers (our star blitzer killing one of the two beastmen back by the ball) and again both nurgle rerolls are used up early- letting us capitalise on a turnover to pile in players; ending once again when my catcher steals the ball and succesfully sprints for the end zone to make it 3-0! Nice to finally have some high MA players!!

The nurglers try their best to push up for a consolation touchdown but we are able to defend well / continue to surf on the crest of good fortune and they must be happy with a few casualties but no touchdowns!
