“Good evening bloodbowl fans, this is Howard Caskill. We had a hell of a game today in the ABBA. OAU took on the Beckenham Beauties and boy did the fans get their money's worth.

OAU won the toss and started out kind of slow on the opening kick, settling into a strange formation on the line of scrimmage. The Beauties seemed a bit confused by this and played cautious, keeping out of reach of the ogres, yet just out of range. To the Beauties surprise though, Breg' Kur OAU's captain grabs Booska and launches him over the Beauties entire defense. Booska somehow managed to land upright and scuttle in for a quick score.

On the ensuing kick-off, the Beauties were doing everything possible to break through the wall of ogre defenders. They used speed and cunning to finally break a couple of the ladies into OAU territory, but the ogres played solid defense with the help of the goblins, slowing the Beauties down. Mur' Gad came out on fire on this kick-off, blasting Moody Mary into a heap... Good thing the apothecary was nearby and alert. Immediately after leaving Mary in a heap, Mur' Gad turned to Marvellous Maria II and crushed the life from her body... the apothecary was busying tending to Mary and Maria couldn't be saved. After crushing Maria, he charged headlong in the direction of the ball carrier. This time the Beauties were waiting, they ganged up and dropped Mur' Gad with a mortal wound, although the halfling apothecary of OAU worked his magic (pulling out a fresh blueberry pie) and saved the big guy.

Meanwhile Divine Diana was working some magic of her own, surviving the multiple attacks of the gang surrounding her, lead by Breg' Kur. Keeping them busy long enough for Tempestous Tara to sneak into the endzone to catch a TD pass as the first half expired.

The second half started out with OAU kicking off to the Beauties. Although, this time around the Beauties couldn't break past the wall of ogre defenders and eventually got cornered on the sideline with the ball. As the minutes passed OAU started to send many of the Beauties off on stretchers, eventually Demkag emerges from the fray with the ball. He starts running towards the endzone hoping to cross the line before the game ends. Sarah "Prinny" Brown and Slinky Serena had other plans though. Serena crushed Demkag near the goal line, freeing the ball from his sneaky little hands. Prinny, seeing the ball bounce free, makes a wonderful play to end this one in a tie. She runs in, grabs the ball and tosses it across the field... dashing OAU's chance for the win.

We spoke to the MVPs after the game. Sukgra of OAU is quoted as saying "getz mez outta herez, dese ogres r cray-z". On the other side, Luscious Lisa said" Maria was my best friend, she will be missed. Those ogres will get it, next time we're bringing our special ale.".
