From my profile

'Sometimes I can get my ass handed to me and the game is still fun. Most of the time I'm a shocking loser, especially in the face of a dice raping. I deal with this rather badly sometimes....So it's upto the coach I'm playing if he/she takes offense or not. I've been working on my bad losing streak for 20-30 years and I'm not getting far with it!'

This game falls into the latter category. A recovery game for me, I took it knowing that victory would be hard. As it was I had a fair chance against this coach, but his dice were nice, busting my armour wide open, and I could barely buy an armour break. As such I was always on the back foot. I started to dish out the pain too late in the game, and I didn't have enough players left to tie up the delves.

However, it was more fun than it normally is getting diced! And team 'Engage' is recovered! Every cloud + all that........

I must admit I got a bit upset in the end-game talk and blacklisted Calcium, but we talked about it later and sorted things out, good thing too since we both had some fun most of the game.

The game itself was pretty much smooth sailing for my elves, failed very few armor rolls while Calcium failed a good amount, compounding my numerical advantage. A whole lot of elves got smacked down holding up the cage with the ball carrier but managed to hold the line on defense. With some failed bone head rolls in 2nd half it became pretty much a done deal, though some fierce brawling contiuned during the last three turns while I stalled holding the ball at the endzone.
