“Kondor walked accross the pitch and shook hands with coach Nocciolino. He had spurred the rotters on to a good match and had earned a win.

Retracing the game in his mind, he thought about how it had gone. The opening kick had resulted in the ref putting his whistle in his pocket, and the rotters effectively stomped the will to play out of the rats. As the first half ended, the rotters were up by 2 points, and the rats only had 7 return to the field.

After a huge game delay due to a distinct lack of beer and the resulting riots, (internet service problems) the game was continued the next game.

Again the two teams took the field, and play recommenced. Here Kondor made a huge error in judgment. Up to this point, he had only played teams that fouled tactically to remove key players. This coach is of the variety that believes in clearing the field even when the game is well in hand. That is noted, and next time we have a match, the blood will flow both ways.

In the last moments of the game, out of desperation of having so many players leave the pitch, the surrounded storm vermin fouled the downed beast in the hopes of being tossed from the field.

At last, the game ended with a beast tripping giving chase to a gutter runner.

When Kondor reached the locker room, he looked over his team. Things were not as bad as they had appeared. A gutter runner, and a lineman would have to ber replaced, but thats the way it goes when coaching rats. A third linerat would be out for a game.

As far as the game went, I really have nothing to complain about. Nicciolino played well, and deserved the win. His style is to foul every play. Now I know, and I will play him accordingly. My last turn foul was an attempt to get my storm vermin tossed from the game and safely out of the way of danger.

I will say that I was mildly annoyed at his original refusal to play my lizardman team. The match would have been a better one as I am a bit more skilled at using them. Still, if he does not feel skilled enough to play well against lizards, I don't blame him for avoiding them. Why else would you avoid playing lizards?

Anyway, given how the game went, it is better that the game was against the disposable rats.
