“Ducks Do It Again!

This one turned into a bloody game indeed.

The Ducks, the clear underdogs vs the stellar DEs Malus's Madness put up a vicious fight!
Even though the ref was onto the Ducks underhanded tactics from the very start, the Ducks still managed to keep the game at a shocking 0-0 at the end of the 1st half.

Start of the 2nd half and the Ducks were receiving. Yonec "Fansypants" Veev kept the ball safe in the back field, Dietz along with Jurgen Weinhoffer rushed past the defense and headed straight for Yasmir. A -2d POW/Skull turned into a double POW and the astonished Dietz walked away with a clean RIP from the block.

After this extremely, fortunate (unfortunate depending on point of view) event the Ducks scored the first TD in turn 4.

The Madness clearly upset at the loss of their star came back with a vengeance and it only took them 2 turns to even the score to 1-1.

Now it was the fans turn to make their mark on the game. Their resentment of the ref had clearly been growing since the 1st half and now they sprang into action! After the ref had been beaten to a bloody pulp, his replacement wisely decided to look the other way as team Captain Harald Gerber put another Elf in the KO box.

Malus's Madness swarmed the Ducks backfield putting the pressure on Veev, but after some more luck from the Ducks (which included crowding the Blitzer Malekith) the crowed once again helped the Ducks by throwing the ball out of reach of all of the Madness players. With the clock running out there was nothing the Madness could do to stop the game from ending in a 1-1 tie!

Now that's an upset!
