“Quite a bizarre set of mauls in both halves that culminated in a failure to score by Chainsaw and a successful score by Hammer of Zharr Naggrund.
The difference between winning and losing came down to a silly failed dodge. Having knocked the ball loose and having far better position around the ball, I tried to get cute and send my ma8 blitzer in to try and pick up the ball. He failed a rerolled dodge, badly hurt himself, and the dice were kind enough to Markusen (stunning my strip ball blitzer) to put a hobgoblin in a position to get away. Opening my next turn with a double skull (my 5th of the match) meant no reroll for the blitz on his hobgoblin, who survived to score, and it was a victory for the Chaos Dwarf team.”
