#4 Daft – Dead (RIP)
Kondor had been sitting in the pub most of the day watching the Fumbbl patrons come and go. It had been a long week with some of his teams doing well, and others flopping all over the place.

In any case, he was curious when CopyCat entered the pub and moved toward his location. The fellow was well known in the establishment and kept his teams on the edge of insanity. It was proven once again today.

"Are your Brewery Boys up for a game against the Brotherhood of Halibut?" he asked.

Kondor response was tempered. The Brotherhood were known for their attitude towards dwarfs. In fact their goal seemed to be the eradication of dwarfs from the Blood Bowl sport. "Hell yea!" he almost shouted. How could he refuse a challenge for such a team.

The Boys were up for the challenge with everyone looking to pop the little flings. They soon learned that both dirty players were in sick bay so they would have an added advantage.

In the end, the Boys won the game, and a good paycheck, but that was not the real story. Captn Morgrim took a disliking to the flings as did Az. Each caused a casualty, but in the beginning of the second half the Captn, went out of control. He knocked Nilistic Nike to the turf, and followed it up with a devastating flying elbow to the temple as he fell. Poor Nike would not stir again.

Suddenly, the smile left Scaffold's facade, and he looked like he had not eaten in a week. Kondor's view was obscured so he did not get a clear view of the moment, but Scaffold scored his second Cas of the game. This time, Nike was avenged, and Daft would have to be returned to his ancestral home draped in the colors of the Brewery Boys.

Kondor now crossed mid field and shook hands with CopyCat. He had coached a great game. The little buggers had lived up to their reputation. With both dirty players on the pitch, there certainly would have been devastating injuries to the dwarfen squad. After this match, Kondor had learned to be wary. There certainly would be a rematch, but those DPs would garner unprecedented attention when that point came.

---------------------
Well played CopyCat. I hope you were not put off by my banter. I was not trying to rub anything in. I expected you to toss a midget and get the tying score any time. The chatter would have continued. Win or lose, I talk a lot when I play. I find injuries to my teams entertaining.

You are clearly a better coach than I am, that game would have been like 4-0 if I were using the flings and you the dwarfs. I have no idea how to make a stunty team work at all let alone as well as you did.

I expected the trees to pop their ping pong balls any moment. But it was the fling who scored the kill. Classic.

Thanks for the enjoyable game.
