When it comes to matches between Dwarf and Chaos Dwarf the ball always plays second fiddle to the bashing and this game was no different. For most of the first half the action (and the ball) did not move from the centre of the field. Finally towards the end of the first half the Chaos Dwarf Tunnel Builders forced a turnover and the hobgoblin Tarozd Darkstink made a break for it down the left wing. Aided by his team mate Zern Dreadgloom the break was quickly ended as he tried to block the dwarf Blitzer Da Bomber KOing himself. Soon after the dwarves were on the attack with the dwarf runner Grimble Getahead aiming for the endzone. Unfortunately time was not on his side and the half ended scoreless.

The second half started with more determination from the Tunnel Builders and their Bull Centaur, Fireender galloped with the ball deep into the Rockers territory straight from the kick off. As most of the players from both sides wrangled on the halfway line the Troll Slayer Brikka Brakka 'The Wall' made a last ditch attempt to stop Fireender but to no avail. The Bull Centaur shrugged of the block and scored.

The rest of the half saw the Tunnel Builders take afew minor casualties but the quality of their coach Pistol Pete shone through as his players managed to hold their lines.
The match ended 1-0 to the Chaos Dwarves. ”
