The Play Off of the Penal League is finally going and B-Block Bashers who won the league during the season squared off against the Serial Killer Psychos.
Being evil mental cases keltic's boys had made sure to poison the Bashers water supplies. "Don" and Karaar Johnson were inflicted and spent a lot of the drives with severe stomatch pains on the bench. Their crowd was equally devlish and "Peanut" was knocked out by a thrown beer bottle at the first kickoff.
The Bashers, who are possibly the most skilled players in the Penal League at the moment, started out well but took a heavy beating. "Mr Yellow" got his neck snapped off on a kick early in the match and plenty of the Bashers were knocked out in a tempo that made the situation look very severe.
Fortunately "Running Man" managed to sneak through the lines and run in a TD. "The Train" was badly injured on that drive, but all the knock outs were in playable shape for the next kickoff.
Now a crucial event took place. The Psychos LOS troops got bogged down and "Peanut" could break through and charge towards the ball. A blitzer tried to stop him, but slipped in the grass, which allowed "Peanut" to run in 2 - 0 on the opponents offensive drive.
The price for the fortune can quickly, with the poisoned Karaar getting kicked in his spleen which ruptured and ended his life. In return "Chrome" managed to foul out Sutcliff, badly injuring the catcher with a low kick. The half time ran out and the teams went to a well deserved break.
In the second half things looked good for the Bashers. 2 - 0 and despite heavy casualties they could field 8 men to counter the 9 opponents. The Psychos had pulled themselves together though and launched a ferocious offensive, taking huge risks but scoring early to bring the match alive again.
After that the match became a cat and mouse game, with the Bashers trying to maintain a hold of the ball and keep away from the numerical advantage of the opponents. In the end "Running Man" broke through the defenses yet again and could kill the match with his 3 - 1 TD, after some very exciting turns and twists.
A victory for B-Block Bashers who are now through to the final in the Play Offs!
