“This was a big match for the Super Comic Book Babes, especially after the beating that they received at the hands of the Cursing Mummies last season. It was PAYBACK time.
The girls were able to frustrate the Mummies efforts to move the ball down field by surrounding their Box Formation and bringing it to a halt. Then, when they got their hands on the ball, they used their speed advantage and were able to pull off the victory.

This game had been higlighted on the Mummies schedule since the start of the season. The team hoped to break there string of tie games and they did, but a 2-0 loss was not quite what they had in mind.
Cursing Mummies received the opening kickoff and marched to midfield. There the team got bogged down and surrounded by the Amazons. There were blocks a plenty but the dodgy Super Comicbook Babes escaped unscathed. The ball ended up on the ground but neither team was able to do anything with it and the half ended with both teams scoreless.
SCbBII received in the second half and succesffully marched down field for a score. On there way they continually knocked down and knoked out the slow moving Mummies. On offense the Mummies once again got to midfield, stalled, and dropped the ball. This time SCbBII was able to captialize and score making the final score 2-0.
