“Well a bit of a nightmare start for me, my good guard elf (the other one has 2 perms) died and my apo failed :(

Was an interesting first half. My quick TD strategy went wrong, failing to score on turn 2 and 3 with a series of ones. The plan came good though in turn 4.

1-0 up and the ogres receiving and his defense looked unbreakable. Lucky, with the turns counting down he had to sacrifice some of his defense to make a rush for the TD line. Strip ball skill and my AG 5 thrower performed outstandingly to allow me to make a counter TD, getting the ball to the opposite side of the pitch as only elves can.

2nd half, and I remembered I had kick skill! setting the ball deep back and rushing my tackle elves forward to take on the gobbos guarding the ball. The full line out of ogres came rushing back, but were to late to recover the situation, as all 4 gobbos left the field one way or another. Finding myself in a tight spot a few elves ran the ball back into the safety of my own half, whilst my offense re-organised, to allow a great rushing TD for the new up and coming Charlize Theron's 2nd TD of the match.
