“The B-Block Bashers and the McMurty Dozen have been top contenders in the Penal League and there is no love lost between the players. After the Dozen's outrageous theft of the Play Off final last season the Bashers were unfortunate to draw them in the first turn, when they still had a badly banged up team. And this match would turn out very much in the same fashion. The foul playing Dozen bribed the ref and cut the Bashers short, crippling their team over the match.

Both teams also lost important team figures. While the Bashers early on focused in on Major Reisman and managed to kill him with a clean blow, the Dozen later avenged him by ganging up on "Father" Wilks, smashing his hand in a gang foul. The allready weakened Basher captain will likely be forced into retirement after the injury.

The Bashers were very disappointed after the match, cursing their hated opponents after what they felt was another unlucky match. Bernard "The Train" Lynx was clearly unhappy after the match:
"Them Dozen bitches always get lucky. We bust skulls just as good as the rest here, but they always manage to get a finger through the visor or hit the unprotected parts of the body. And buying off the ref and stompin' us like that...we gonna get our revenge, man. They even fouled just before the clock ran out, just out of cowardice. They are going to pay for this."”
