“OAU, having lost in the finals for the ABBA Cup last season, to the Abba Warriors, came into this rematch with something to prove.
The ogres lost the toss and kicked the ball to the dwarves. Both teams met midfield and the melee was on. OAU came out really strong on defense, taking out a troll-slayer and setting up a pretty solid defensive wall. The Warriors answered right back, taking out a rookie ogre and establishing a hole in the wall of ogres. With a single chance remaining to stop the dwarves from the score, Dar' Mal loses his train of thought, forgetting to take out the ball carrier. The warriors score, taking a 1-0 lead.
On the ensuing kick, OAU manages to clear a wide hole in the dwarven defense. Although, time is running short, so Doom' Grad grabs a hold of Booska and successfully launches him to within scoring range... unfortunately, Booska stumbles and falls just short of the endzone as the first half comes to an end.
OAU gets the ball to start the second half and manages to pull off a long drive that results in a touchdown to tie the game at 1-1. Bru' Lar somehow managed to pick up and stumble in for the tying score, after the last remaining goblin on OAU was knocked out of the game. Brännvinskryddad Sill of the Warriors played amazing defense on the drive, but OAU started to clear some dwarves off the pitch and eventually simply overwhelmed the stalwart Warrior defenders.
With only moments remaining in the match, OAU kicks the ball to the Warriors. A bad kick gives the Warriors the ball on the line of scrimmage, in the hands of their fastest runner. The Warriors drive the ball deep into OAU territory with two ogres to beat. OAU plays the defense almost perfectly, knocking the ball carrier down and the ball ends up in the midst of both of the OAU defenders. This is when Nuffle smiled upon the Warriors. The Warriors make an amazing block to move one of the ogres away from the ball. Then Brännvinskryddad Sill proceeds to run between the legs of the remaining ogre, pick up the ball, evade him and sprint into the end zone... to end the game.
Notes: Not much I could have done differently. This was a great game. One that could have been a 2-1 win for me, a 1-1 (maybe even 2-2) draw or a 2-1 win for Magan. There was a two touchdown swing in his favor, due to bad luck for me at the end of the half and good luck for him at the end of the game. Very tense game though. Magan is a class act and a very good coach. Til we meet again brother.”

"Well the little buggers ran like a cat with mustard up the hole. Sweet Nuffle Balls of Fire. The speed they came up with! Yiahaaaaa! Grebbestad Ansjovis took the ball up deep into OAY territory and Brännvinskryddad Sill came in support. Waiting there was Nu'Guk. The nr 1 for the Ogres threw a mean block at Grebbestads who went down and lost the ball!"
"And this is where we all thought it was game over! Right Dave?"
"Sure as sure Billy Bob. But in the next turn Kung Carl Gustav came in from deep down the Warriors lines and reallt went for it. With him in support Grebbestad went up and blocked away one Ogre so Brännvinskryddad Sill could get a straight line to the ball. Swift as that hooker who stole my money this morning he went in and scooped the ball up despite Nu'Guks futile efforts to stop him. He then easily dodged out and sprinted for a TD in the very last second of the game!"
"An unbelivable feat. For a dwarf team I mean"
