“The B-Block Bashers are going through a very rough period at the moment, often outplaying the opposition tactically but suffering from heavy casualties. It started with the match against the Serial Killer Psychos in last years play-off, where the Bashers won but suffered 2 fatalities. The they lost the final due to a cruel twist of fate (humongous dice rape), got smashed to bits in a 0/4/0 cas spread vs the McMurty's in the beginning of the season and could for this match only muster 9 men due to MNG's and bad handicaps. The It Wasn't Me handicap of course struck the best player of the team, the catcher Mario "Running Man" Alvarez.

Despite this the Bashers managed a 2-0 lead at the end of the half. But their usual curse held firm. With the inability to cause casualties (despite repeated gangfouls with the dirty player) they could only field 6 vs 11 players in the second half. Even being outnumbered almost 2 to 1 it took until turn 16 and a double skull block from the Bashers for the Serial Killer Psychos to tie the match.

With the two biggest competitors crossed off the match schedule and a full team for the next match the Bashers are hoping that their cursed period ends against the same team it started with.

After two 2-2 matches the Bashers still have good hopes of making the cut to the next play-off.
