#5 Brock Samson – Serious Concussion (-AV)
My opponents opened the game with a double-skull block. Reroll... double skulls again. Unfortunately, but then again fortunately, this set the tone for the game. We had some good luck, and our opponents had some bad luck; the latter left them at a player disadvantage for much of the game, with the teams frequently lining up 11-8. We certainly capitalized, and racked up five touchdowns.

War continued his reign of terror on the Blood Bowl pitch, dealing two casualties to bring him to eight in five games. He's not letting up; bypassing more conventionally useful skills in pursuit of ever-increasing violence, he's learned to pile on. Mummies was named the MVP, and also had a touchdown and a completion; he's grown even burlier than before. (Does nobody on this team know about guard?) The more practical Ira 2 has learned to tackle following a TD performance; no longer will elves and the like slip through his grasp.

In non-skill news, Famine scored two touchdowns; his agility has made him the team's de facto ball carrier, but newcomer Christopher Lloyd seems likely to challenge for that title.

Bobby's less-than-ethical approach to blocking has drawn the ire of another opponent; this one broke his ribs, necessitating some time on the injured list. The same is true of minotaur Brock Samson; we think we may have been sold a defective minotaur. Next time -- and if the current trend holds up, "next time" will be soon -- we are totally going for the ogre.

And it's about time some guys got hurt, too. It's just not a 4 Norsemen game if we don't go into the next game two players down. In a confusing development, Stuart managed to make it through the entire match. Good job, Stuart!
