Six iz Enuff didn't roll enough of sixes, so the Gothenburg Geckos went through to the semi-final where the Vivacious Vixxxens waited. Even the cold blooded lizardmen were steaming inside and it was no question where the allegiance of the crowd went, amply illustrated by the saurus Gargox getting badly injured by a thrown rock even before the match started.

The Geckos managed to get both nigglers in action though, and had an able amazon hunter in Huanitza. Despite this they had a rough time landing casualties. By turn 3, when Kroxgor had managed a turnover on a 3d block on the round before, a fireball had downed 4 of the 5 guys protecting the ball and the saurus Conqua BH'd himself on one of the Vixxxens on a both down block, things looked less than optimistic.

When the sauruses and the in this match completly awful Kroxgor crapped out the skinks pulled the weight though. The little ones somehow managed to keep the amazons from the ball and when a window opened Inziloq darted away with the ball and could stall the remainder of the half.

In the second half both teams could field 11 players without reserves, but for the Geckos the ranks were now filled by a lot of skilless skinks. The Vixxxens constantly lurked around the end zone line, but somehow the Geckos managed to hold them off. When Garuan managed to surf Jenny McCarthy to the delighted crowd and the apo failed on Angela Summers the Vixxxens lost their hope and the skinks could surround the ball until the time went out.

The Geckos are through to the final and with a 15 man squad to their disposal! If only the nigglers show up the Geckos have a nice chance of bagging themselves another title!
