“Smack Semi

Well, this was a crazy match. I got the lead 1-0 and I was forced to take it in 4 turns. because of my DP got spotted, needed a new one on the pitch and both my mummies had been KO. Well as it turned out, those mummies were hit pretty hard. they both stayed KOed, so I was down to 10 players already and with Stinkytroll having 5 turns to score against an undead team without mummies.

I guess nuffle felt bad about letter both my mummies stay out and gave me a blitz on the kick off roll, that gave me the ball and with Stinkytroll failing in getting me down I got a TD for 2-0 with Stinkytroll having 3 turns to score. Again both mummies stayed out my only tackler, a wight was KOed as well, so down to 9 players defending against 11 in 3 turns.

Blitz once more on the Kick off roll, but this time I think it did as much harm as good. I pulled to much over to one side, so my defence got a bit bad with only 9 players. I managed to force Stinkytroll to do a 1d blitz, +3 dodge and 1GFI for the TD. the RR was used on the 1d blitz and the 3+ dodge and GFI went perfect for Stinkytroll. 2-1 at half time.

in second half i got one mummy back but still missing my tackler, I had 9 players to defend with. it looked impossible for me, but I managed to steal the ball with a -2d blitz, a bit crazy, but was the only chance I had. next turn Stinkytroll stool the ball back with his mummy catching the bounce and that meant I had no chance of getting the ball. I had a 1d blitz with rr in the last turn of second half on the ball, but double skull. :(

OT I started with the ball. But only one mummy again. One had moved from the pitch to SI and the other from KO to the pitch. it all went pretty well with me having the ball untill I used my last rr on a dodge and fail the shortpass for the win. Stinkytroll had a really good turn after me failing the pass and got the ball pretty good. I had a 2d blitz but only managed a push, since i had no rrs. from there Stinkytroll went for the TD with me having 2 turns to go.

The final result tell that I didn't make it with a two turn score, thanks to a good defence from Stinkytroll and bad dice.

The match got the right winner, I had no chance to win with not being able to field more than one mummy at most from turn 2. Well played Stinkytroll and I hope to get a rematch some day, even if I did whine a bit too much at times. but I sure had seen the game over way before it really was.
