“Obba League Two, Season 6 - Round 4

With no other teams yet to take the field in Round 4 (probably waiting to see how the Khornets faired in their game I should imagine!) it was up to the evil chaos side Watford Khornets to take on Djed's Dark Elf team, the Khazad-Dum FC.

The Chaos Warriors took to the field once they had sharpened every sharp thing on them... unfortunately they forget to sharpen their wits as they watched the Dark Elf team get some good ball handling going and score. 0-1.

Coach Wotfudboy had to have a think (but with all that evil spinning around in his head it was going to be a difficult thing to do!), all that dodge on the elf side had to be countered somehow... I know... let's splat elves, and stick the boot in!!

In the end it took an intervention by the great god Khorne to ensure that dastardly Witch Elf was KO'd... and he also guided Ross Jenkin's feet to make sure they didn't stumble as he crossed the line for an equaliser. 1-1.

Now with the Khornets were receiving. All they had to do was be patient and not do anything orcish... I mean stupid. Dark Elf after Dark Elf joined their brethren in the KO box, but still they posed a threat with their agility and speed. Yet again the bloody god Khorne stepped in to guide his champions... with a muttered curse the Dark Elves found their boot straps tied together... and time after time the elves fell over as they tried to dodge. Coach Djed looked around for a sneaky Goblin or other offending player... but couldn't see one. That tactic was so underhand and sneaky he was suprised he hadn't thought about it!

In the end Taffy (the nakesake of the original star player to grace this team) ran in for a winner after his team mates ensured there was not threat nearby. 2-1.

The daemonettes danced provocatively on the touch line, and the assembled filth and scum that was the away fans section screeched with glee. Now the pressure was on Borgen to make sure they didn't stumble against AlanHasek's Rotters (who are serious underdogs given their team's current 10 man lineup.

Hopefully Hull UnderCity BBC and Maharak Dead Boys Under 21's will also trip up against their next opposition, cementing the Khornets superiority, and making them very strong candidates for promotion...

... however, the chaos gods are reknowned for their cruelty... and they might just abandon the Khornets when they need them for luck, just for being overconfident! Let's hope oryx leaves little of the dwarves for us to face next! :)
