“A very messy game, this was not *at all* what I expected from two elf teams.

My rerolls paid off but I did envy him his skills going in and on until the number of players swung my way decisively.

It started with bright sun and my player fumbling a pickup and went orc-dwarf from there. Nuffle was clearly watching as strings of bad luck were interspersed with a few good dodges and passes.

Although I ended up doing serious damage to the soppy high elves and there were a fair number of off-the-ball blocks, this clean (0 fouls) game was all about the ball and I had the best of it, picking up my own kicks as often as not. Quite why the last minute pass earned thirumal the MVP award I don't know but I'm glad I managed to scoop the ball that one last time before the final whistle as he's learnt a lot from it.

I hope the Lords of the Feast learn some proper humility before their betters from this salutory lesson and go forth to show all inferior races how the game should be played.
