CRASH! BOOM! KERSPLAT!!!!

These were the many noises coming out of my team for this match.

The Dwarf-Tigers rolled out the Deathroller for this all important contest and saw the might machine rolled off by the Referee on turn 1 due to a misguided foul. (How does the ref send of the Deathroller anyways?)

I attempted to argue the sending off and was banned. NOOOOOO!!!! My master plan foiled after one foolish act! Argh!

Well played by Wotfud and good luck in League 1.

Cheers.

Obba League Two, Season 6 - Round 5 (My 500th League game!)

Handicap in favour of Hull were Smelling Salts

Stinkytroll hired a Deathroller to add some punching power at the front, whilst I spent some cash on a wizard (to counter the roller) and a chainsaw wielding freak.

The game started with the dwarves from Hull receiving... as the ball was kicked the excitement got too much for the crowd who rioted in anticipation of an exciting game... leaving 3 prone Chaos and 4 prone dwarves. Hull soon had the ball in hand, and after knocking the Ogre prone, the Deathroller saw its chance and fouled with 3 assists... Luckily the referee, who had just come back from specsavers, spotted the foul... everyone was stunned... including the prone Ogre! :)

Despite going a player down the dwarves attacked down their left wing hoping to salvage something from the situation, especially after surviving an early sack attempt on the ball carrier by a green git with a chainsaw. However, it wasn't long before he got another chance... this time the chainsaw bit, stunning the ag4 dwarf and sending the ball spinning away.

Despite this setback, another ag4 dwarf made an elf like play and gathered the ball back up again. John Barnes, the claw/rsc assassin Chaos Warrior watched this... and it angered him...

With a flash of deadly fingers the ball carrier was slashed... unfortunately the ball was pierced on to his claws, which also served to protect the dwarf as he was merely stunned. Nobbla then joined in, fouling the prone ag4 dwarf runner, BHing him. The other dwarf runner, having watched his running mate leave the field in a broken heap was angered... as his beard bristled so did his rage and his blitz stripped the ball from the claws of John Barnes... and the ball was spilt yet again.

The game was hanging in the balance at this point.

The ball was handled and dropped a couple times more as both sides fought for the rights to the score. Nobbla fouled and stunned the prone ag4 blitzer, but the ref had had enough of his antics, and sent him packing. However the Chaos side had done enough. The 1st half finished a stalemate.

As the half kicked off the Watford Khornets sprang in to action... the coach had threatened a random sacrifice of a player if a win wasn't secured tonight... and this was enough to get their attention! With two stunned los dwarves, a 3rd was proned... and then fouled out of the game. The dwarves responded in kind, but their foul efforts were no match for armour that had been blessed by the chaos gods themselves. As the dwarves swarmed around the right wing, the chaos side drove down the opposite side. Andy Rankin put another dwarf out of play, and things were looking really desperate now for the dwarves... 1BH, 2 SIs and a banned player was putting pressures on their numbers... ie only 10 to take the field next if the Chaos side were to score.

The dwarves tried to even the numbers fouling the prone CW Wilf Rostron, but the apoth saved him from any suffering. The dwarven gang foul had put all their players in one place... easy to contain. Suddenly the Chaos hurt machine kicked into life... with another two dwarves BH'd and SI'd.

Despite the Ogre feeling the full force of dwarven frustration with a fouled BH, there was little they could do. Dean Windass's feeble sack attempt left him prone to John Barnes's claws, and was sent to join his stumpy mates in the SI box.

No dwarves could reach the chaos ball carrier, so they tried to vent their frustration on the nearby opposition but it was too little too late... and the Chaos side ran in for the winning TD. 1-0.

Was a tough and messy game, but I expected more blood from the Deathroller and Chainsaw than actually came about. In the end the dwarves shouldn't have tried to out bash the Khornets... as that's their game! Cheers for the match Stinky... Good luck in whatever league you end up in!
