“A fun and exciting match with a quite frustrating end. No Escape pulled of a near perfect offensive drive in the first half, comfortably scoring in T8. Quite surprisingly the high elves managed to pull off a 1 turn TD and kill Lord Voldemort in the process. They also got all of their 4 KO's back, making the first half completly even.

The high elv armorsmiths would be part of their win, because the AV held amazingly well, especially considering that these elves aren't afraid of going in for close combat against khemri. Even the AV 7 players took several hits each from the mummies.

What screwed me was a completly idiotic mistake though. After the high elves scored in T4 I succeeded with a hand off to the ST 4 blitz-ra Dhemos and made my way down the field. A failed GFI stopped the elves from getting close to him, so he had only one elf in his path. What do I do then? In a moment of bloodlust I sacrifice my blitz on some other player with my mummy. A completly brain dead maneuver that of course leaves my ball carrier locked in position.

Can't say much about the loss. If I had played it right it would have been a tie, now it wasn't and I got nothing but my own sloppy coaching to blame for it.

Fortunately the sting of the loss was weighed up with Dhemos rolling another +ST. I know got a ST 5 blitz-ra!
