“In the rare event that an elf team challenges the Clint Eastwood Roles, we are both honoured to find a coach with cojones and wary that he might have a game plan to outplay us :) So we showed that we meant business by injuring 2 dark elves on turn 1. This made coach Kondor play more carefully by positioning his elves well and minimizing assist situations to the zombie boots.
Both teams covered the ball well and played with foresight and intelligence for the most part. There were a few sudden strokes of bad fortune that screeched drive momentum to a halt for both teams.
All in all, a fantastic match, a fair share of good and bad dice on the key plays. Looking forward to a rematch :)”
“Kondor crossed the pitch and shook hands with Coach Manbush. This was the second consecutive match the Guard had played against legendary teams. Last match Sleeper in Metropolis. Now they draw Clint Eastwood Roles. And what a match it turned out to be with all the fans going home happy.
Early help from Nuffle got the ball to Jolly Green for the early score, and it seemed that the Guard had control through the most of the match. The howls of anger and frustration did however erupt from the bench when Walt scored his second point of the game.
Twice in as many games, Kondor had legends on the ropes, but greatness shines through and you learn you really must put a stake in the heart of a champion before you assume a win. It was a good showing for the lads but next time a win would be much better.
Walking back to the locker room, Kondor wondered if he could arrange a match with the Nandorians or Baby Dolls next. See if the legend tour could continue.”
