“Well its always nice when an opponent fills out a match report, and I usually reciprocate! Meetgrinder is underselling himself somewhat. I think he played the first half quite well, and really did well puting on pressure and then taking advantage when I failed some rolls after getting myself in a tricky position. The second half was a bit 1-sided towards the end, as my mummies started racking up casualties, and some mistakes did happen then from Meetgrinder. Still I thought it was a well-fought draw from both sides. Good luck for the future (and getting better), it was an enjoyable game.”

“Handicap saw my Werewolf with 4ST but I didn't play well enough to take advantage. In the first half I got the ref and duly went bananas - my last few games I've hardly sent fear rippling through my opponents ranks with lacklustre blocking and poor play. Even so, I was able to remove just one player from the field with a failed Regen, and the rest of the time my head was in the clouds, making silly errors and probably shining a light through a leaky defence to an excellent coach like Grod.
2nd half was pretty much one sided, my blocks usually failing and my poor positioning making me wonder what the heck I was doing - moving players at random or what?
The undead were the better side, their coach the better. The illegal drugs made a big difference in the 1st half, i didn't have enough players or rerolls to make much of a difference in the 2nd, so was grateful for the draw!
I need to go have another lemsip, my head is pounding!
Thanks for the game Grod, you play the undead very well and probably deserved to get something more out of this match. +respect for not using the ref late on either - I'd have been itching for revenge after that first half foulfest.
Jury still out on me playing with anything other than Orcs. I can't get my head round Dwarves and Necros are a weird mix of bash and speed, and I can't decide which to use, making them easy pickings in my hands. Think I'll lie down and suffer with the flu some more. Seems I'm best at that :-S”
