“The Left hand of Darkness, a scourge in the hearts andminds of all right thinking free peoples of the old world, were challenged by the Deadly Flingz of Deathdealing, who brought along a chef and Deeproot to really screw up them goats.

Gangfouls, blocks all over, fighting biting cracking and punching, and the Goats still managed to score with not much left on the field, the FLings revealing a defense laden with holes and an offense more in line with a cascade of tumbling cotton wool balls. The trees were near useless, Deeproot was useful, the flings hopeless.

And the goats seem to have survived.

Bizarre.

The flings will be saved for understrength sides to do the other coach a service (though they won't quite see it that way I'm sure) and foul their way through the remnants.

Haven't played many fling sides, last one I took serious and wondered why they died in droves vs Orcs or some such. Then against Dwarves. Then what was left against Goats. This one, we will take on ALL COMERS!*

*All that is, save bashy teams, full strength teams, any team that looks like a challenge, any team that looks like it could fight back, any team that runs too fast, too slow, too medium etc etc.
