Handicaps: Knuckledusters (ok), and Virus (BRUTAL, no ST4 AG5 guy)
Hires: Me - Wizard and Ripper, Him: None

First half was sort of a joke. I was out 3 players immediately to KOs and 4 by turn 3. I then suffered an apo-fail death to a decent blitzer, and a niggling injury to an awesome one (my previously non-niggled AG5...now they both are). I had hired Ripper, and he got KOed too.

Second half, both trolls still sat out, and I was outnumbered but I somehow managed to sneak a lino upfield and get him out of reach with the ball. Casualties piled up as both teams slugged it out at midfield as my lino stalled. Eventually arengot got someone over to pressure, and I scored. The last play of the half was a failed hand off with reroll that would have been a score to win it outright for arengot.

OT

The trolls make a guest appearance, fully rested from not having played since turn 2 and 3 respectively (or thereabouts). Each earns himself an early cas in the OT period. Where were you all game when I needed you?! Ripper eventually got fouled off the pitch, but my own troll, Rokhan, stood his ground and did a great job in the limited time he played. Out of rerolls, I freed up Saurfang to get within scoring range and screened him. Arengot managed to blitz the screen and park a CW in front of the ball. Given the options of a SF dodge-past and gfi, or an AG3-BoB dodge out and 2GFI blitz, I took the hurty option and blitzed, succeeding in taking the CW down. Saurfang scored to put me up 2-1.

Final drive of the game was touch and go. Both teams shorthanded, I play back to attack whoever comes upfield. Kick scatters to the sideline and AG4 SH just marks it, and chaos comes up field. A couple turns of blocking later and I have my SF blitzer next to the ball, crowded in among a mix of chaos and orcs. A POW on the SF and it goes to a coinflip at 2-2.

Sort of anticlimactic to flip a coin after all that carnage. Whoever were to win that game, it wasn't going to be pretty for their next. I'm the fortunate one who gets to scrape his team off the pitch and figure out how to win another with them.
