#14 Horseshoe pitviper – Smashed Hip (-MA)
Our chaos face Jesperius' much higher rated ogres. We get 2 handicaps of illegal drugs and bribe the ref. They have 3 block-ogres (of 9) and 2x DP goblins, a squad of 13, but just one reroll. A tough nut to crack!

We start with the ball in the rain and begin well, knocking over 3 ogres and KILLING one with a gang foul- using up their apo to save him. They counter by KO'ing two beastmen and MNG'ing our troll (regen fail) while we run the ball past their boneheaded pile of meanness to score on turn 5.

They have a few turns left and since we've used up all our rerolls we have a risky time trying to stop them that unfortunately falls short and they are able to make it 1-1 for half time, MNG'ing a chaos warrior on the way.

They start the 2nd half extremely well, -MA injuring a beastman and then gang fouling another for a MNG. That's 4 who won't be at the next game already. We try for a gang foul, managing a stun, while they foul back KILLING our DP whom we save with our apo. They foul again on the following turn after our DP refuses to stand up, KO'ing him and getting their own DP sent off.

They continue KO'ing our players though and after burning through our rerolls trying to get at their ball carrier and failing it's easy for them to walk it up to score on their last turn to make it 2-1.

On our final turn of the game we decide to exact some revenge for the thrashing we've taken by knocking over all 3 ogres, then gang fouling one of them for a KILL!

I'd like to reiterate how funless it is to play against ogres, there's really not much you can do except watch your opponent roll for bonehead and armour, so I hope you'll forgive a T16 foul-kill. It's really the only way to remove ogre teams- cause an ogre death/retirement in every game and they soon disappear.
