#12 Vladimir Will Slit Ya – Smashed Knee (NI)
Livers in Blood Pools 1 - 2 Aberdoom

The writing was kind of on the walls for the Blood Pools as soon as the first action of the first turn. Vampire rolls a 1 on OFAB. Re-roll used. Same Vampire makes a block. Double skull!

It was a bizarre game throughout. The first three OFAB rolls in the game resulted in a 1 being rolled. The Aberdoomer's weren't particularly conspicuous when putting the boot in and three of their four fouls resulted in players being sent off. I-Gor Biscan on the other hand had the help of a bribed ref and but for an Apothecary coming to the save would have earned a kill along with the two other players he stomped to the injury table. The Blood Pools still failed too many blocks though to dent the Chaos Dorf line, but the Vampire's regen was 100% successful, whereas the Aberdoomer's were more ruthless and at one point late in the second half left only four Blood Pool players on the pitch. When hypno gaze worked, snake eyes was rolled as a Thrall went for it to make a fair one dice block!

So a second straight defeat for the Blood Pool's! Yet following a mauling by Dorfs and then much of the same against Chaos Dorfs they should be happy that the basis of a team still exists. And a consolation touchdown late in the day when it was eight against eight shows they still have the taste for the odd score. Now if the Vamps could just have a quick snack before kick-off, it might allow them to stop goofing around in the first couple of turns and attempt to cause a real scare!

Relegation looms, but that's probably for the best - fewer Dorfs in the division's below. Next up, Celtic BBC and yet more Chaos Dorf's... (sigh)...

Well played Phil! Glad we finally got round to that, as with the dice rolls that were appearing it made for a highly entertaining game - look forward to doing it again sometime. Good luck with your push for the title.
