“Recrudescence of Vanyar 1 - 3 Wroth Wraiths of Wrath

Dear Vanyar,

Today I do not bring the tedius recount of glory that you have grown so accustomed of, but instead I share with you the excitement of new found knowledge!
We discovered a new language, an old, long forgotten tongue of Middle Earth - it is the arcane idiom of the Blood Bowl field, and it goes a little something like:

We learnt that the old scholars call it Arengee. In written form it appears like a random sequence of ones and zeroes, but I can protest that there is nothing random about it as our close study of the language led us to become quite proficient in it – we practiced it all game!

Sadly, as for our game, I am afraid I must confess to being a little preoccupied by this newly discovered archaic lore and neglected my duties in studying tactics, in short we were crushed by the foul Wraiths – may they rot in the foulest Goblin stench pit of Mordor!

This however is a minor distraction, we are sure that no more distractions lie on the road ahead and we will crush the rest of Mordor!

This must be one of those elf trajedgies that Chewie often regails me with, as I don’t recall ever rolling as many 1s, granted Doom and Gloom was no help either.

I played most of the game outmanned (starting with 11) and I think out diced, a combination thrawt with peril on the blood bowl field.

On the upside, it’s always good to get a dicing from a coach you enjoy playing against and I was fortunate not to take any perms – though I think Damatze may have spared me some boots towards the close of the game.
