#10 King Lemming – Serious Concussion (-AV)
#14 Count Blackboard – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#14 Count Blackboard – Smashed Knee (NI)
Wow what a game.

KJG should have won based on my idiotic rampage at the end of the first half. He played very well in the first half, and I could do nothing but watch my men take long-term injuries. I was obviously a bit disappointed early. He played the game the way he should have.

In the second half, I started getting lucky. I pressed the attack and was able to take the ball away and run in for a TD. The second TD was more of the same. The +AG halfling was the reason.

The big problem in the second half for his team I think was I started targeting his halflings instead of the trees. I guess that is what I learned for this game. Win by attacking with trees to MB the flings out of the game. The game is won by numbers with these guys...and +AG is without a doubt helpful.

KJG, I hope you get another AG5 fling. By the way, I hope to play you again. Thanks for not getting too annoyed with me.

My team got massacred in their last game before this one. If I had remembered I would have taken them out of the tourney (if that's possible, not sure). However, despite losing, this match was what they needed. Plenty of SPP's and no one got hurt. Heavily outnumbered, and having lost all but one of my experienced players, I wasn't expecting to win.

The game started off really well, with me scoring cas after cas and also a td in my opponent's half, which made the situation look rather hopeful for the second half. Due to my opponent having a number of replacements the teams were evenly matched (in terms of numbers) despite me scoring a number of cas's and ko's. In addition, he had an ag4 fling which meant the difference between winning and losing. In my 8th turn my tree got the ball, and I was fairly certain the game was going to go into overtime. But thanks to skill and reasonably lucky bouncing, (and perhaps even more to the clever use of the his trees guard skill) my opponent scored in his 8th turn.

Nevertheless I enjoyed the game, and my team is now back on its feet, more or less, with some new additions. Who knows, maybe I can even get that ff up again. It's currently on 1 :/

Lawman, I also hope to play you again, fling v fling is more fun than i remember. And good luck with the rest of the tourney! And don't worry about your complaining, I only just ended a streak of bad luck that went on for 23 games (in which i never had more luck than my opponent), so I'm well aware of that it can be very irritating. In the end, our luckometres were almost even, which is always nice.
