“All credit to my players for the close game as the coach's contribution was epitomised by the T16 decision to spend the last RR on a pointless pass ...possibly not the worst mistake of the match but probably the most obvious.

Disposable teens make it 10 games undefeated in OCCS off the back of their successful OSSC stomp and now cup run the the 'Ogre aid'
This was the closest match they have had in sometime though with little going the necro way in the first half, despite getting quite a few dice on the dwarf carrier and grabbing the ball once. Eventually tohugh the Teens ran out of players to stop the dwarves who were cassing thick and fast... fortunately regen was mostly on form this game though.
The push 1 turn with frenzy was well on with the dwarfs setting up narrow allowing maxiumum pushage by the necros but as the coach gritter called "perf def?" perfect defence duly arrived on the kickoff :(
2nd half was all Necro play though, with the dwarves managing to put some pressure on the ball but ultimately getting outflanked for a stall.
1-1 and overtime, with the dwarves having used their last reroll.
The dwarves won the toss and received and the necro knew they could be in trouble.
A deep good kick put the pressure on the dwarves though and the Teens commited players forward to force a passing play by the dwarves, as the dwarf runner failed the first pickup.
The dwarves then got the ball in hand and tryed to throw it into a semi cage, but the pass did not stick.
The slow witted necro and dwarves clustered around the ball in a scrum and jockeyed for position for a turn before a path was cleared for the werewolf Teen Distortion to run around the back of the dwarf defence and blitz a dwarf on top of the ball. Star wight 'Smells like Children' then managed to pickup the ball, but failed the dodge roll away.
With players on both sides mostly commited or out of position, Smells like children dusted himself off and cleared to ball of a dwarf Tacklzone. The Necro then trusted to their speed and made the pickup with their werewolf while trying to screen with faster players.
It all looked good until the other werewolf failed to bring a dwarf down with a 2db, frenzy took him to a 1db which he skulled.
This left the dwarf runner free of tackle zones, and he GFI and 1db'd the Necro carrier down.... he then failed the second gfi and stunnedhimself tho trying to pickup!
Backup wight 'Sweet Dreams' then made his pickup and jogged in for the winning score \o/
Was a good close game, fitting for a final.
