“As lopsided as this one looks on paper, it looked worse on-screen:
Handicap: Illegal Drugs (gave +ST to my Tackle/Strip wight)
Niggling injuries: 100% fail (nifty DE blitzer sits out, leaving 10 DE left)
First half started out looking like a blood bowl game. My first turn I made a zombie of one of Sergrum's DPs, but got called off and left the ball loose. Pure Darkness closed in, but they'd set up deep and couldn't immediately pressure it. I recovered and made a pass with my AG4 wight to one of my ghouls and caged it up. There were several turns of pushing and shoving at midfield that looked like it might go either way, but the tide swung deadwards, and the cas piled up. The remaining DEs pulled back and the undead scored T8. No KOs came back for the DE T8. No KOs came back for the second half.
The second half was an orderly evacuation of the pitch by the DE. They tried to foul their way to a ref rescue, but the Tales weren't waiting around for that. KO, crowdsurf, foul-KO and the pitch was empty by T4. We took the opportunity to skill up a zombie (by passing!) and two ghouls (2 passes / TD respectively) before walking in on T8. Quick pace to the game, with one player playing and only using a couple players a turn.
GL rebuilding that DE team Sergrum. That ST5 blitzer alone makes the effort worthwhile. They were a bit light on personnel to begin with, and I just made it a fair bit worse.”
