A true tourney finals, worthy of a comment (too bad the specs didn't hold on 'till the end, it was a nerve wrecker to say the least).
First of all I have to say, despite the always "reliable" Luck-o-meter, that luck was definitely more on my side (the casualty count speaks first), even though in times I ritually cursed the dice (especially skull/pows and dbl skulls with the rat ogre - at least 3). The kickoffs were definitely mine, starting with a blitz, a perfect defense, not to mention my preciousssss GTR in the first half, which gave Nibbler the chance to sharpen his fangs on a few prone humans and send 2 of them out bleeding. Despite the lucky kick-offs, the numerical advantage Dalfort had from the beginning (14 to 11) and the above mentioned skulls which burned most RRs pretty early, forced me to score without excessive stalling, giving Dalfort the chance to work his magic. And when I say magic, it is really the true meaning of the word... Two incredible long bomb passes, both after pick ups within a TZ and/or subsequent dodges, to lonely receivers (which insolently refused to die throughout the match, even though they were repeatedly being hit the hardest) left the crowd twitching with anxiety until the very end. And that was not all - pows on blodgers (on both sides), 2 foul kills (which used up the apos), failed GFIs (these were abundant in the crucial moments, as always) and the coup de grace keel by Mr Schitzo (his first official kill, with no apo, only a few turns after he got pulled out of the jaws of certain death underneath a human boot) all added the spice to one hot boiling stew of a match.
All in all, a great game (with lots of mistakes, but it's all in good fun) with a very polite and fair coach (even despite the bloody fouls, hehe), and it would be modest of me to say that this is the kind of a game I'd like to spec on a regular basis, fun and bloody to the core. Tbh, this was definitely one of those based on dice insanity, since normal strategies and rational moves did squat tonight :))
Cheers Dalfort, you're one lucky hombre (and this comes from the one who won on luck :)))

That explains why I performed so well :D

This game was amongst the best experiences I have had on Fumbbl, and I cant believe it was our first match... It certainly will not be our last !!

I can not compete with the excellent account of the game; so I wont :D , the only thing I need to add is that chooxter is an equally polite and gracious coach, especially as the first long bomb/ dodge exhibition came straight after the client calculated a single square quick pass without TZs from a thrower to a GR to require a target of 4.... strange but true, and the dice gave him a 3, RR'd to 3.

Many thanks chooxter, I genuinely look forward to our next match.
