JR only had good luck on two turns, and neither of them were when he was at the controls. The opening kickoff saw a perfect D in his favor and his BCs flanked my stacked LoS looking to penetrate the backfield. The traumas survived, apothing a BH TS, that turned out to the only CAS they would suffer.

By turn 4, the dice were heavily pro-Trauma although JR managed three dodges with Hthark (6+, 2+, 2+) and 3 gfis with no RRs to put a TZ on the ballcarrier who waited on the goal-line on turn 8. I put a few assists in place, blitzed with Grim (ST 4), and declined to RR my failed dauntless as I had 3 assists already vs the BC. Unfortunately, the little window that popped up was asking me if I wanted to RR the gfi I had just failed and I clicked "NO"!!! (I had previously failed about 4 dauntless rolls without needing it in the previous 2-3 turns...DOH!)

As JR said, Hthark double-skulled and MNG himself on the last block of the first half. With only 7 players in the second half it turned out to be only a matter of time before i got the ball and scored on the final turn.

JR you did what you could, but Nuffle favored the full dwarf squad over the half-dwarves today...

Thanks for staying relatively cheery. I would have crapped myself by halftime if I was sitting in your vantage point (and if I had eaten 3 pounds of prunes).

#3 Toro Gorehoof – Dead (RIP)
A disappointing chance to gain a second championship. Ice Nine started armed to the teeth with Htrak and a full roster. But Morley's would strike. Toro Gorefoot would die on a foul and the team doc would fail on the recovery. Htrak would seriously injure himself on his own on his own failed 2 die block.

Still, it was tied going into the second half, but two failed ko recoveries and 2 morley strikes would allow only seven players to take the field. snowcone would complete a pass, but that would be it.

congrats celas. wish i had a better match.
