“A superb match for the viewers who love to see a skilled contest. The Wanderers took an early lead when Redfire took a catch under pressure and ran in. A Wanderer's blitz was stopped when Arrowdancer uncharacteristically dropped the ball. The Beirut drive then came painfully close to the end zone, but was thwarted when Johnson was tripped. Swordcinder and Arrowdancer performed admirably in disrupting the attack, although they couldn't wrestle the ball away.

The 2nd half came alive with a quick drive by Beirut and this time Johnson making no mistake, during which Woodfox was killed and the medics unable to save him. Wanderers looked to counter attack, but a Beirut blitz this time was able to take advantage and after a mistake and stumble from Starjester, Ware took a smiple score. The Wanderers came back with the Beirut half having to cope with 3 receivers. And they did cope well - holding up the attack. However Earthwolf was able to slip away and took a long bomb pass from Firefeather whilst in the end zone.

With little time left a bad kick from the Wanderers put the advantage with Beirut and Johnson again raced forwards. However Firedancer was able to break the cage and put both him and his opponant down. Beirut attempted to wrestle the ball away, but it was fumbled. The Wanderers just about managed to open a route up to the ball and Firefeather was able to step in a collect, before launching a pass to Earthwolf, who had slipped path the Beirut lines in the confusion. With the last move of the game, he ran in for an impressive win.”
