A great matchup to start the Noose's season off (due to them being too drunk to find a certain Elf tavern...*)...
With both teams draining the coffers to bring in the big names, it looked set for some epic bloodshed and ballplay.
The Count and Zara faced off a few times during the match, with neither able to get the upperhand, although a couple of well timed blitzes from Von Drakenborg aided the undead in sneaking across the line to post the first point.

Halftime, and the Norse started really hitting their straps - and the piles of animated bones in front of them became a lot less animated. The Count was finally downed by a frenzied minotaur charge - the blow so powerful, the old vampire found himself in the SI box before he had a chance to react, much less regenerate! A relatively quick score by the 'Raiders saw them lining up to use the time and their numbers to sneak a win, but some hard fought, last ditch defending meant the 'Noose' were able to hold on for a draw.

Great match, great coach, and well played on both sides, I think.
Thanks again, captainmalkor - we shall meet again!
