“Insane game, not only due to several reloads spread over 2 days because of buggy Botswana internet connections.

Both of opposing nigglers rolled a one, leaving the dark elves only 9 players on the pitch. Yet, there were brutal. Even without a single dirty player, mighty blow or tackle they managed 7 casualties (not a single foul) and 3 RIPs (two from crowdpushes).

After my thrower snaked on a gfi and knocked himself out things went messy with lots of failed passes on both sides. Don't remember exactly what happened, but I managed to score the 1-0 eventually.

Late in the second half exactly the same happened; the opposing ballcarrying thrower fell on a gfi and knocked himself out. Ball came free and it resulted in 2-0.

Lots of bad dice for both players this game. Opponent threw a quadrupple skull with his witch at one moment. My thrower got ripped by the crowd after the incoming blitzer snaked on 2+ dodge for a blitz on the ballcarrier (the thrower was standing in the td-zone for an assist to get an extra dice, but got surfed next turn).

The fact that a team with 9 players and without a single tackle or mighty blow (i had 5 blodgers) was able to inflict 7 casualties is once again proof that Nuffle moves in mysterious ways.

PS: this was the first game in around 20 games I had 12 players. I've been for around 15 games with 10 or less players and after this game it looks I'm back from where I came... another such victory and I can retire the team, yup another Pyrrhic victory indeed. ”
