The T1 apothecary to my BH'd kicker was not a good start but I expected to need him (especially with the excellent form he had already shown) and didn't think I could afford to be losing players from my limitted roster so early. I'm very glad I did as he continued to kick well into the Orc backfield as the match progressed. Paracutin was soon to leave the pitch unconsciuos however as Hendrickson moved in to show him what the Orcs mean by "kicker" -but by now the Ref was watching and intervened while our hero was merely unconscious.

What followed was a display of pure awesomeness demonstrating once again why Jordell deserves his Star Rating as he leapt between two (briefly distracted) orcs to deliver a swift (1d) shoulder-barge to the allegedly sure-handed Blakeslee. inspired by this example, our own Nimbus pounced past the guards to scoop up the ball and dodge across the line.

Tathar seemed to lose all hope at this breathtaking display of synchronised aerobatics but I was soon frowning myself as the Orc fans mobbed the referee -while it was fortunate that our fans managed to intercept their would-be replacement this did not bode well (both teams gtr). Paracutin was back however and the kick was deep.
Unfortunately Ongtupqa (our own scuffling expert) had found himself on the front line and stunned by the breath of the BoBs but Takyr stepped in and delivered a lucky blow to remove a crucial tackler and sew fear in the hearts of the opposition. Even Jordell's valiant efforts didn't manage to liberate the ball from the tight pack of Greenskins before the whistle but they were slowed successfully and we managed to score again early in the second half to seal the match.
