“This was an exciting game that could have ended differently. In the 1st half, the Legion got the ball and formed a nice cage, moving slowly down the field. The brave Vulcaniani neri stayed with the cage, finally got an opening. Making a 1 die blitz on the ballcarrier, they successfully knocked the ball loose, recovered it, and got it to a receiver down field. Although the Legion pursued and punished on the way, they could not stop the score. M'zel did get some nice fouls to thin the Vulcaniani ranks for the 2nd half. 2nd half kicks off and the Legion gets a Perfect Defense. Thinking to punish the dark elves and not thinking about the ball, they lined up 10 Goa'uld on the LOS in the hopes of inflicting harm. However, the dark elves were too smart for that and not only got most of their players off the LOS but managed to knock a few Goa'uld down. A mistake on the part of the Vulcaniani neri resulted in them not making a throw downfield when they had a chance and the Legion jumped on the opportunity. The skeletons made a push for the ballcarrier while the mummies beat on anything within reach. Fearing that the ballcarrier would get blitzed, Vulcaniani neri moved for an easy throw but then the unthinkable happened - Imhotep made an INT while in coverage! This turned the tide of the entire game as the Legion was already deep in the dark elves backfield. Using all the remaining time, Imhotep moved patiently towards the endzone with the help of his fellow Goa'uld and scored on turn 8. To add insult to injury, Anubis landed a killing blow on Vulcaniani neri player, Kuvak. Naturally, Imhotep was voted MVP.
