Not to denigrate Rocket, but this was a game where skill simply did not matter. Luck was dominant throughout - and not in my favour. This game simply wasn't winnable with the balance of rolls, with a luck split that was in excess of 30% for half the game. I just don't take the kind of risks in a game that might cause that.

Rocket made perhaps 25 dodges with his thralls (all without dodge) and failed twice. 1-d blocks, all but one a pow.

In comparison, I try and pick up the ball 11 times, succeed three times. In fact, I used all but one of my rerolls in the whole game trying to pick the sodding ball up. It totally emasculated my offence and provided Rocket with endless opportunity to take advantage.

Sucked major league suck in a sucky no-fun at all kind of way - particularly after a run of games that has been pretty much the same story. Enough already! >8(

Edit: Wasn't calling you crap Rocket. Just bemoaning my fortune - and I doubt you can deny you were lucky as sin. Gratz on the win. Hope you keep it going.
